The education of our children is of the utmost importance. Our future, as well as that of future generations, depends on our ability to raise up children who have received a superior Christian liberal arts education. We must produce graduates qualified for acceptance into our finest colleges and universities. Our children will be the future scientists, pastors, doctors, teachers, engineers, writers, artists, missionaries, economists, and political leaders. We also need caring children with strong moral values and the willingness to accept responsibility for their actions. The Bear Creek School allows our children opportunities to grow in these ways by presenting a challenging academic curriculum from a Christian world view. This combination will provide our country with a future we can look forward to with hope, not despair.

The mission of The Bear Creek School is to provide a quality, Christian liberal arts education to each student. The liberal arts are defined in Webster's dictionary as the studies (as language, philosophy, history, literature, abstract science) intended to provide a chiefly general knowledge, and to develop the general intellectual capacities (as reason and judgment) as opposed to professional or vocational skills. The Bear Creek School believes that every student should receive the best education possible, one which will give tools which may be used in any future study, and which will enhance one's ability to live life with reason and judgment. All our students take what is traditionally defined as college preparatory courses. Regardless of the life work God later calls a child to pursue, he should be prepared in his education to have a broad knowledge of many areas.
The Bear Creek School proceeds from a distinctly Christian world view within an orthodox evangelical belief system. Our faculty teach the Bible as truth and model values that inspire and enable students to live a Christ-like life in today's world.
