Terms
Of Use
Intent
DonationRewards™ exists for two distinct, yet complimentary purposes:
To further the goals of charitable organizations by providing an
innovative new method for raising money, and to provide merchants with a
cost effective and measurable means of marketing to the community in
which they reside.
Privacy
Any information you provide for us on this site is for the express
purpose of serving your needs or improving our service. DonationRewards™
does not rent, sell, or share any specific personal information with
outside parties other than the organization(s) you donate to (unless you
donate anonymously).
Limitation
of liability and warranty
We and any third parties who work with us provide our service "as
is" and "as available," without warranties or
representations other than those expressly provided.
As
such, DonationRewards™ disclaims any liability for damages which may
occur as a result of your use of our services.
Disclaimer
of tax or legal advice
Advice received via this website should not be relied on for personal,
legal, or financial/taxation decisions. You should consult an
appropriate professional for advice about your situation. Information on
the tax-deductibility of a specific organization in an emailed receipt
comes directly from the IRS.
Value
for your donation
DonationRewards™ does not represent it’s services as “value
for donation”. It is our interpretation of the IRS guidelines, found
here, that reward certificates do not constitute tangible value
exchanged for your donation. By using our service, you agree to allow
our registered merchants to market directly to you through the use of
special offers. In the case where a merchant, or charitable organization,
may provide a certificate which may be redeemed directly for something
of value, not requiring a purchase, and the donor redeems this
certificate, the recipient is required to reduce the amount of the tax
deduction by the fair market value of that which is received. While
DonationRewards™ will attempt to provide accurate information on which
certificates constitute such an arrangement and what the fair market
value should be, the ultimate responsibility rests with the tax-payer to
properly account for occurrences.

by updating this page. Any use of the site by you after such revisions
shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by you of such amendments,
